My Bio
I have just finished my BA in fine and applied arts, my discipline was painting but my work focuses on large scale crocheted instillations using industrial materials such as rope and washing line.
I am interested in what was classed as women's work in the past inparticular during the industrial revolution, as well as gender issues in the modern age. My work also looks at the hierarchy between fine art and craft. I like to reinterprete Victorian crochet patterns but using the unusual materials that enjoy working with.
Another aspect of my work deals with photography which I use to complement my crocheted pieces but can also stand as images on their own.

I just saw Green Day in concert and it was brilliant they are amazing live, they done some of the old stuff as well as stuff from American Idiot and of course 21st Century Breakdown. Though for me the highlight of the night was when they played Shout it was so cool they also had bits of Teenage Kicks and satifaction in it.
BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!
